My most project from recent years.
It's not the biggest, the best, the most beautiful... it's simply the most.
If the opportunity arises, I will try to make this project a reality. The idea is simple and comes from just one observation. The basement of the family home was never hot in the summer. It didn't matter how hot it was outside, the basement, as befits a basement, was always cool. In the winter, regardless of the cold, even without heating, it never had any frozen pipes and... it never froze there.
The explanation is simple.
The soil has a high thermal inertia due to its pure mass. This means it takes a lot of energy to heat it upand a lot to cool it down. In winter, during extreme cold, the soil can freeze even to a depth of 50cm. This means that a room located deeper than 1 meter will only freeze if it's open all the time during extreme cold or... during a nuclear winter. Using this, I created a simple house design, located on a flat terrain with three floors, each of which is at least partially at ground level. Weird? And difficult to execute and unfortunately I lost the model I used to create these renders somewhere, but even if I ever build it, the model will have to be created from scratch, because this one was made before my taste was formed. But one thing's for sure, I love creating, so even that's a plus :)

It's a curious story... :)
I used to work at Castorama. I used to play around with simple 3D modeling. One day, I decided to create something more substantial. I modeled a sizable piece of land around Castorama and made it as useful and realistic as possible given the constraints of the real world.
The idea was that the Castorama in Skierniewice would have half the space that is visible in my renders, and it could not be bigger because it needs a parking lot. You could increase the size of the store at the expense of the parking lot, but it's a store, so it obviously needs a parking lot. So, I put the parking lot under the store, designed the entire area, driveways, exits, and detours. I spent a few days on it and put it on the company's network drive without comment, waiting for the reactions.
For a few days, everyone was secretly fascinated by the upcoming renovation, until the official announcement came from headquarters that nothing like this was planned. In the end, no one ever found out it was me. Now, after a few years, and since I no longer work there, I decided to share it so that the trace of it would not be completely lost. :)

The model was created for 3dchallenge on SketchUp forum. Renders of it were done in fer different programs, across some longer time frame. Exact dates are lost and irrelevant.
Nothing fancy here. Just few really old simple rendering done for my work, that nobody asked me about.

My cousin asked me to make some design for their kitchen as an inspiration. The wish was "Something really modern".
Of course, they saw this and said "Not this modern". I do not blame them. ;) Just a few attempts of creating something that i could place in my bathroom. You know.. manly furniture... of kind. And one (first one in the series) created for handicapped (paraplegic) and kids, so all the shelves would be accessible.
