A few more interesting things I've created recently at work. I'll be updating every now and then, so... check back every six months ;)
A design for a music-playing cabinet as part of my regular job duties. As you can see, this music-playing cabinet is unique because it not only plays music but also lights up and, unlike any other in the history of the world, is actually a cabinet! ;) It was a fun project that required a lot of work, but it was worth it because the cabinet makes an impression in person! This design won the audience award at POS STARS in 2022.
Recently, I designed a bottle packaging for one of our French clients. I think it turned out pretty well, but a lot of the impact comes from the professional photography.
"This is the construct. It's our loading program. We can load anything, from clothing, to equipment, weapons, training simulations. Anything we need." - Morpheus As a side note, this design won the Paris Packaging Week Awards 2022 in... Paris, of course. :) |
A customer once asked if a Jacob's Ladder toy can be made out of cardboard. Of course, there's nothing stopping us. So here it is. It's not a standard Jacob's Ladder construction, as you can see. I added my own little "twist" to it. I like it.
-------Edit-------- Fun fact. This design, in the version for Barilla, won the Art Of Packaging award in 2021 in one of the categories. |
The first thought was to send a box of fudge to customers. The idea changed a bit, but the box was created independently. I like that kind of thing. The mechanism inside is as mysterious as it can be, but it works and... it allows for a small amount of work to make a version that dispenses any amount of product. I'll remember this design fondly :)

Few a bit older and newer designs that photos of i have recently found in drawer with "War memorabilia".

Story of this design goes like this:
The manager on a day off on Slack wrote that a 3D bull would be needed because the client has Chinese year of the cow or something like that. A few days later, I come with this handsome guy in the pictures to ask if it's ok, and the manager says: What do I need a bull for? It turned out that the client on the same day that he made the inquiry, gave up on the bull, but I didn't find out about it. So there's a pointless bull. But later something really cool happened.

Below, there are photos of things done quite a long time ago.
I miss my workshop...
Packard Eight. Model created for sole purpose of existing. Nothing fancy (well... it's a bit fancy).
It was one of the first things created for my laser but assembly was difficult. Level eight, to be exact. As a fan of wooden homes, when i got my hands on laser plotter, i had to make those! The tiny houses for tealights!
A rolling pin for a member of my family.
This story doesn't have second bottom. Fast, small order. It's a "Dolgoch" type choo-choo.. Well. it's based on it, but that's not the point. It's easy to make and assemble if someone would want to. :)
Those were mostly downloaded from internet. The only one you won't find roaming on the internet is the bird.
This one has rather short, and sad story. It was designed by man i don;t know name of. He posted design as JPG and... few days after died in some pointless war skirmish. So i've taken the picture and recreated it. Envelope
I once wanted to gift some cash. This is envelope i made for this occasion. Nothing much. Just small test of how laser can mark surface of wood.
Therein lies a part of me.
Long time ago i purchased rustic light bulbs. They were waiting 'bout 3 years to be used, but in the end, everything finds it's use. Another time i bought voltage regulator. When time came, i combined them both and.. there you go! |
Yamaha XJR1300. This beast was created for one dude that was nagging me about it for like two years, nearly everyday in my work. When i finally finished he changed his mind, and didn't want it anymore. I should have take some cash in advance...
This is money bank! It's made in a way to make it difficult to take the cash back out.. You put cash in though the one-way chimney duct.
Picture/frame/lamp/
Idea and execution are all mine. I like the end result. What you can;t see on photos, is that scenery changes slightly when you move the frame, as LEDs light up different parts os the picture. Just engraving on fake leather.
Just a few laser-cut thing. Nothing special. Just memories.
Mug for 3PLN and engraving for 30.
A natural match! Simple design.
Companion cube. Portal game prop. Simple LED lamp powered with any USB phone charger. It has a tilt-switch.

A long time ago, before I started thinking about buying a plotter, my creativity was in need of an outlet. I decided to modify the wall. The central module controls 9 light bulbs placed as seen in the pictures. The whole thing was built using a steel wire structure, covered with foil, and then a water-like material, to later cover with a finishing material and substance that I never found and never used. I took down the structure when I moved and couldn't take the walls with me. Only photos remain. It was worth it!

I have bought a knife for a person who likes knives. Although it's just an imitation, but a good imitation and imitation of a good knife. But how to gift it? In dedicated box! Where to take such box from? Having workshop pays off.
